| Here at Our Lady of Good Counsel, we see the role of the
music ministry as supporting the action of the Liturgy. |
|
Our choirs help lead the congregation in
song at the 4 PM Saturday Vigil Mass and the 8 AM, 10 AM and 12 Noon
Sunday Masses. We are all ages and levels of vocal development. What we
have in common is the desire to praise the Lord with our music.
Presently we have four choirs and always welcome new singers. Choirs and Mass times are:
| Vigil Choir: |
4pm Saturday Mass.

| Praise Choir: |
8am Sunday Mass.
|
| Laudate Choir: |
10am Sunday Mass.
|
| Aloha Choir: |
12pm Sunday Mass
|
Warm-ups and
rehearsals for all choirs include:
1. Choir Prelude/Warm-up 15 minutes prior to each Mass.
2. Rehearsal every Wednesday at 7pm (all choirs welcome).
3. One new song practice right after Recessional hymn every week.
4. On-line practice from Choir e-mail. |
