This ministry
provides a developmentally appropriate
opportunity for five-to-ten year-old children to experience the Lord's Word
during the 10 a.m. Sunday Mass. Children's Liturgy of the Word begins by
accessing the children's prior knowledge of the the day’s message and
continues with the Sunday Readings from the children’s Lectionary and a
brief interactive reflection. The entire experience last about 20 minutes
and takes place during the regular Liturgy of Word at the 10 a.m. Sunday
Mass.
