The 3 year OLGC Capital Campaign better known as
"Together We Will"; began with Commitment weekend on Feb. 16 & 17, 2008. Two weeks later, March 1 & 2 we had our First Fruits collected.
Over half the parish families committed to the campaign and many others indicated they would sign on at a later date. The average pledge of those who committed was
$6,000 per household.
The campaign committee is now going through a process that will take us into a new focus toward achieving our stated goal of
$1.5 million. We actually need more, given the cost of material goods.
We welcome one and all in helping us achieve this goal. Our first step is a new rectory to house our new, permanent priest. This rectory
has been built and paid for. Step two was the expansion of the current
church wings to create two more multipurpose pods. Step three is the
addition of the future entrance lobby (2012) which will allow us to
relocated the parish office to the church site. The final step needs to be the
full expansion of our present all purpose building. This will allow us to have a dedicated Worship Space to accommodate
500 worshipers.
