Mission: To visit those
parishioners who are unable to come to a regular Church service or to other
Catholics in area nursing homes.
Those in the ministry will visit the Clyde E. Lassen
Veterans Nursing Home and Glenmoor on a regular schedule to bring the Body
of Christ to them. Home visitations can be made to those parishioners who
are unable to attend a regular service due to a health condition.
Requirements: All parishioners who minister to those in nursing homes and
those taking communion to the home-bound must complete the "Protecting
God's Children" program and be fingerprinted. Those visitors taking
communion must also be certified as an Extraordinary Minister of the
Eucharist.
